Location: Manchester or Newcastle-under-Lyme
Salary:£45,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits + Progression

A highly respected and growing regional accountancy firm is looking to appoint a Tax Manager to join their expanding team in either Manchester or Newcastle-under-Lyme.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a mixed tax portfolio whilst supporting clients across a broad range of tax matters including advisory and planning work.
Duties will include:
- Managing a portfolio of clients across personal and corporate tax
- Delivering tax planning and advisory projects
- Reviewing compliance work
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Building strong client relationships
- Working closely with senior leadership on more complex tax matters
The role offers an excellent balance between compliance and advisory work, ideal for someone wanting to move away from purely compliance-heavy positions.
About You
- CTA / ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
- Previous experience working within accountancy practice
- Strong mixed tax experience
- Confident managing client relationships
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach
