Tax Manager – Advisory

Are you a CTA-qualified Tax Manager who enjoys complex advisory work and wants to work alongside an experienced Tax Director?
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing accountancy practice that has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality tax advice to owner-managed businesses, high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key member of an experienced tax team, working on a broad range of advisory projects rather than purely compliance work.
The Role
You'll be involved in a wide variety of tax advisory assignments including:
- Preparing high-quality tax advisory reports.
- Supporting tax planning and restructuring projects.
- Advising owner-managed businesses and their shareholders.
- Working across both private client and corporate tax matters.
- Carrying out technical research and applying tax legislation to client scenarios.
- Supporting HMRC enquiries and complex compliance work when required.
- Working closely with the Tax Director to deliver exceptional client service.
- Providing technical support to colleagues across the wider business.
About You
You'll ideally have:
- CTA qualification (essential).
- Strong post-qualified advisory experience.
- Excellent technical knowledge of UK tax legislation.
- Experience writing detailed tax advice reports.
- A background advising owner-managed businesses, private clients and/or corporate clients.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive and commercially minded approach.
