A Tax role that offers more than just compliance
If you’re currently working in practice and looking for something more; more interesting clients, more variety, and more exposure - this could be the move.
I’m working with a growing, specialist firm that operates in a very different space to a traditional accountancy practice. The work is fast-paced, client-focused, and offers exposure to complex, high-value financial affairs.
This is an opportunity to step into a role where you’ll be trusted with your own portfolio, while continuing to develop your technical and advisory skills.

- Preparing and reviewing UK personal tax returns, including more complex cases
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, handling queries and providing clear guidance
- Liaising with internal teams to gather relevant financial information
- Supporting on advisory work and developing your technical knowledge
- Reviewing work completed by junior team members and providing guidance
- Managing your workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
What makes this role different
- Exposure to high-value, complex client work
- A more commercial and advisory-led environment alongside compliance
- Clients with more complex financial affairs than a typical SME portfolio
- A fast-growing business with real progression opportunities
- A team that will invest in your development and progression
This is a role where you’ll broaden your experience quickly and move beyond purely routine compliance work.

- Experience in a personal tax role within practice
- ATT qualified, CTA studying/qualified, or qualified by experience
- Strong technical understanding of UK personal tax
- Ability to manage client relationships confidently
- Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- A proactive approach and willingness to develop
What’s on offer
- £32,000 – £38,000 (depending on experience)
- Full study support (if required)
- Clear progression opportunities within a growing team
- Exposure to more complex and interesting work
- Hybrid working (post-probation)
The package
- 23 days holiday + bank holidays
- Additional holiday with service
- Pension contributions above statutory minimum
- Health plan benefits
